Hope – A Poem by Professor Farshad Composed by Farid Elhami Arranged by Amin Heydari Performed by Vahid Taj With the accompaniment of the Ferdowsi Ensemble

The content of this work reflects hope during the dark and ominous days of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The essence of existence—whether it plays with kindness or melts with wrath—may find its reason in humanity. The bitter sweetness of the dark curse of Corona lies in the fact that we cling to nothing but human virtue, step only upon love, even within the realm of nature, and break the darkness of selfishness. Every bitterness has its end, just as the longest night has its dawn. Through good thoughts, good words, and good deeds, let us embrace existence. So may it be.”

With regards, Farid Elhami
